Kala Kand Recipes

Kala Kand is a delicious melt in your mouth to create a sweet, easy and loved by children and adults. The Diwali festival is always a good time to prepare and share sweets. Traditional:

Ingredients

10 cups whole milk
1 / 4 teaspoon powdered alum. Alternatively, citric acid (2.1 tsp.) Dissolved in water. The goal is for both crystallization.
4 tablespoons sugar
1 / 4 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) to grease

Method

Pour milk into a thick-bottomed aluminum pan and heat over low heat.
Keep stirring so it does not meet the ground.

Keep stirring until the milk is grainy, and then reduced to a solid mass. Keep the flame on low for uniform cooking.

Ingredients

1 can sweetened condensed milk
250 g fresh paneer (cheese)
A pinch of saffron
1 tablespoon cardamom powder
8, no. Pistachios
Method
Put all ingredients in a microwave-proof glass bowl.
Microwave on high for 15 minutes.
Every three minutes, stop stirring and restart.
Pour mixture onto a greased aluminum pan and let stand a few hours in a cool place.
Once set, cut into squares to serve.

Shipping:

Ingredients

1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon yogurt
1 / 2 tablespoon butter for greasing
1 tablespoon cardamom powder to taste

Method

Place in a deep microwave-proof glass bowl, all ingredients except ghee.
Microwave on high for 9 minutes.
After every two minutes, remove the bowl, stir ingredients again and microwave for 2 minutes.
Let it rest for three minutes.
Pour in a greased aluminum pan and let stand a few hours.
Cut into squares and serve.
